| How do you accommodate 5 bedrooms, formal spaces, and a single story with a traditional front load 3-car garage?.…add a basement. This was our design challenge. With the option of a full basement including 2 additional bedrooms, possibility for 2 additional baths, and a full service game room equipped with a wet bar, this was our ultimate solution. The lower level has almost 1400 s.f., with an 18’ long light well which creates an abundance of light complimented by a 9’-0” ceiling height. Our client has trademarked the idea of open floor planning which carries through from open Living & Dining spaces to a well appointed Master Suite. Transferring between these spaces, are pockets of service areas such as a Butler and walk-in pantry as well as separate his and hers wardrobes. A gourmet Kitchen and unique shaped island are focal point of the entertaining portion of the house. Outside entertaining can be achieved as you enter through a Portico into an intimate Entry Courtyard as well as a full outdoor patio that spans two thirds the length of the house. The exteriors have an old world feel with simple masses clad in stone, pre-cast detailing, and wrought iron accents. |
