SThe inspiration for the design on this station is pulled from historic buildings seen once lining this area of Yuma.
Upon completion, this station will be approximately 17,000 square feet. It contains a battalion chief quarters, fitness area, offices, training tower, and the standard spaces you would find in any fire station. The single-story station allows for patios on two sides of the main living spaces, which can be opened to fresh air throughout most of the year to take advantage of the Arizona climate. Interior finishes and color palette is warm and comfortable and they have been selected to make the fire fighters feel at home during long shifts.
